getting messages to work after porting

can’t get rid of the temp number in phone under settings , changed ok in messages to my ported one but now says can’t b used for messages  as need a sim for this number but my ported number works fine on calls lost at a solution.

my ported number works calls but not messages tried altering the number stored in phone which shows the issued number but just goes back to it and won’t stay as my number also says in messages after changed the number there can’t be used for messages...
