Using the smarty sim in a mifi device

Hi, just purchased a mifi device from amazon and it recommended a smarty sim. The sim is activated, and the mifi is showing the sim as being present, I just don’t have any data? Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

Obtaining PAC code

To transfer your number, the help states text PAC + Date of Birth to 65072. But as far as I can tell from other articles, Smarty doesn't allow short code texting. So how are you supposed to do it?

Data add on while in France

HiI have 6gb of data left, it runs out in 20 days. I'm in France and would like more data.If I purchase an extra 15gb now would I lose the 6gb I already have?Also, can I keep purchasing 15gb, say every two weeks or am i limited?
