Setting up voicemail
When I called 123 it says I haven't set up my mail box and I'll be taken through the process to set it up. It prompts me to enter a PIN but when I start to type it in, it then says "that option is not available." and cuts me off. Any idea what I've done wrong?!62Views0likes1CommentWifi calling intermittent on iphone 13 ioS 16.5
My wife is experiencing intermittent Wifi calling on her iphone 13 ioS 16.5. However, on the same home network etc my old iphone 6S+ ioS 15.7.6 experienes no such issues. We use a Smarty data only 4G sim for internet access in the house. We have a TP-link mesh wifi in hte house that we both connect to. All Smarty sims - any idea what the issue might be with my wife's phone? We've tried resestting network connections, re-boots etc.Solved3.5KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Parental controls off but can't access Premium Bonds site
MSFYes, I'm aware that NSANDI changed its log in structure. When I phoned their help desk they confirmed that I had set up the 2 factor thing successfully previously. However, that was when I had BT broadband through a cpper wire. NSANDI says it's the network provider's issue, not theirs, but I don't have any issues on other websites now that PCs are turned off. I did manage o use the iphone app on another Smarty sim but only after PCs were turned off. I'm looking for people's experiences using a data only sim and desktop computers, not the smart phone app.3.2KViews0likes0CommentsParental controls off but can't access Premium Bonds site
Hi, Ever since I moved to a Smarty 4G data only sim (in a 4G modem) for internet access, I've been unable to successfully log in to the NSANDI website to check my Premium Bonds. I've tried Edge, Chrome and Firefox browsers. I don't have this issue on any other finncial type websites so it appears to be a specific problem with Smarty and NSANDI. Initially I couldn't even use the NSANDI app on my iphone either. Then I read that Parental Controls are enabled by default by Smarty. It was a real pain getting the PCs turned off on the data only SIM but doing so hasn't solved the issue. Has anyone managed to access NSANDI using a data only sim? If so, how?!3.2KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Group plan set parental control for non owner member
I managed to get through to someone on the chat line. They had to turn off the parental controls for me but only after a lot of to-ing and fro-ing with umpteen pieces of proof of age etc. Th whole thing took 45 mins. Then, when I tried to return here, it kept taking me back to the community registration page. Was told to delete all my cookies, cachr, browing history etc which I didn't want to do. Ended up using a different browser. I'm not impressed by hte help available - it all seems to assume the sim is in a handset. It doesn't fully account for other situations eg modem or car, or a non-primary account holder. I was thinking of switching from Giffgaff in my car but won't now.5KViews0likes1CommentRe: Group plan set parental control for non owner member
I have a similar problem. I recently changed from a BT landline to a Smarty data sim in a 4G modem. Ever since I've been unable to access the functions on the nsandi website and on their iphone app. I turned off the parental restrictions on my iphone (containing the original Smarty sim) and it now works fine. The data sim is part ofa new group I created. I cannot find where to turn off the parental restrictions for this data sim. I've tried various places and the nearest I've found is a greyed out section under Content & Network settings. I tried contacting Smarty using the link in the previous reply but just go round in circles through the FAQs etc - there's seems to be no way of actually contacting a human being.5KViews0likes2Comments
