Hi,
I’ve been trying to transfer my number to my new smarty sim for about a week now, I’ve put it through several times and I either get a ‘number hasn’t been transferred over’ message or nothing happens. I’ve been messaging Muzammil but this person seems to be struggling to help. Is some one else available to help? Thanks

If you go onto a web chat with Support Team, it should be taken up by the next available agent, so you may get some help. You can complain as an alternative if you cannot get a proper answer : https://smarty.co.uk/complaints

Hi @JasonHa_1955218 if your PAC isn't being accepted this will either be because it's being entered incorrectly or the code itself is invalid. I would first recommend double checking with your previous network to ensure the code is still in date and is the correct code for the corresponding phone number.

Hi there,
Any update on your issue with the transfer? I have the same problem so just wondering if you managed to sort it out and how. Thank you

I’m on Day 11 since my number transfer request from Smarty resulted in my account with old provider closed and my number disconnected. Still absolutely no idea when my number I’ve had for about ten years I’d given back to me . I’ve been on daily to help desk , made formal customer service complaints and just had platitudes in regards in response . Really poor from Smarty and utterly frustrating

I just wonder if the people on this thread requested a STAC code (Service Termination Authorisation Code) from their previous networks rather than a PAC code (Porting Authorisation Code) and, if it was indeed a PAC that was requested, whether it was older than 30 days ?

@JJP2 - You make a very good point here! I hope they see it and do check back.
