@Nattine_1132772 There is no such number. Smarty keeps costs low by being an online-only service.
You can start a web chat with Smarty support if you need their assistance.

@Nattine_1132772 There is no such number. Contact is via web chat or email and this is done to keep costs down.
Very often, you can get help here or via the help pages on smarty website, unless it is a direct account query when only smarty staff can access the accounts.

@Stclair Smarty Support is only available via web chat. This keeps costs down.

Unfortunately if one has no Internet service because Three has "issues" then online webchat is unavailable as an option.

@Brendan_1816421 With the greatest respect, if you can post here then you can enter web chat with Smarty from the website.

There seems confusion over 0345 calls which I’m unable to make. Any confirmation of this is helpful, thanks

@Stephen_2006564 01, 02 and 03 calls to UK numbers are included in the Smarty plan.
Occasionally they don't connect and I think this is due to too many 'hops' - mobile to landline to internet telephony. When this has happened to me, I try again a little later and have been successful.

Perhaps I should have mentioned that it has taken 3 days for me to post a response because I had no signal. Even now I have only 2 bars showing wavering to 1. Smarty webchat keeps cutting out before I can get to chat with the operator. Three is texting me because my phone is so poor and calls are frequently not connecting. It's very unfortunate that SMARTY also uses Three so I'm suffering a double whammy as it were. I expect some kind of response/ explanation from SMARTY. Just because Three has texted an apology doesn't remove the responsibility.

@Brendan_1816421 How would Smarty know that you are not getting service (other than when you tell them)? They will not know exactly which mast you are connecting to as you could be travelling between different masts e.g. home to work.
I presume that Three are responding to a recorded complaint, but you have not been able to lodge the with Smarty as yet. May I suggest an email instead of web chat if it won't work? team@support.smarty.co.uk

With the greatest respect SMARTY ought to know that it's Web provider THREE has been experiencing loss of service, not just where I live but nation-wide. THREE has a shop which is where I lodged a complaint and a dedicated help number [333] which worked long enough for me to report it. I shall try to send an email. Thank you for the suggestion.

@Brendan_1816421 Three had a nationwide calling issue, yes. There was no nationwide data issue.
01-02-2025 10:39 AM
@Brendan_1816421 Smarty posted here about the national outage last week.
I can see that you prefer the way that Three do things. The problem is that their service is more expensive - after all, someone has to pay for the shop where you reported the problem.
Smarty offers a no-frills service and it is only good if it suits your needs. If it were perfect, then I'm sure they would have a lot more than their million customers .

this is why you can’t get anything solved by them … I’m currently pulling out my hair trying to get any sense online .
NO HELP
WILL CHANGE COMPANIES

@LlinosW_2853110 Acknowledging that not everybody likes the online only model, then you may indeed need to change and be prepared to pay more.
06-09-2025 19:06 PM
but the online webchat doesn't work 🤣 that is why people are so frustrated. It was like a loop and keep taking you back to square one.

@Qingdao Then you have the option of the Complaint route. If you complete the form, you have the option of a call or email - but it may take three working days. (Access is further down on the 'Contact us' page)
07-09-2025 11:41 AM
I personally didn’t ask you for any answers as I put a statement there, not a question. I am stating the fact to you which is the solution you offered to the other user didn’t work. So maybe next time when someone did ask for a question, give them trial and tested solutions? No need to repeat what their website says see can all see that.
07-09-2025 13:10 PM
@Qingdao Well, aren't you just the graceless one!
As it happens, I have had reason to contact Smarty Support on occasions and, as far as I'm concerned, it works - you get a response.
If you were able to see what the website says, it's hard to see why you didn't try it.
This area is known as Chats and Hacks. The intention is that people either give some useful information or perhaps a way round doing something - yours was neither but I did attempt to help you with a suggestion to what I saw as your problem. You didn't want that? Well, perhaps best not to use these posts for purely venting then.
There are a few of us who try to assist others on a voluntary basis - quite number of them express thanks. I won't bother trying to assist you in future for sure.

@Qingdao Your reiteration was of course redundant because, as you so sagely pointed out, everyone can already see.
Unless you are hiding behind an alter ego, it looks like you joined a couple of days ago and have posted five times in total, mostly to point out failing in smarty's offering.
To quote you - Helping each other is always voluntary as it brings joy to us, that’s why we all (not just a few as you quoted) try our best to support each other, with valid answer - and yet you shoot me down in flames for trying to g to do just that.
Anyway, don't bother replying to me but use your energies to help others - Goodbye.

I was also surprised why I had to reiterate at first place, then I realised certain people don’t read properly lol
I pointed out Smarty doesn’t provide best customer service which ironically you agreed. Then the rest of the times I was pointing out YOUR failure, not Smarty’s. Whoops clearly not read properly again lol. See ya.
