I’m currently in the Channel Islands and can’t get my phone to work. I’ve bought a data add on and also tried switching the APN to mob.asm.net but still no luck…any advice appreciated

@AndyMar_2188183 I'm just wondering whether you bought an EU Roaming Data Pass - that would not work as Channel Islands are not considered EU (I know...go figure!!??!!).
What you need is an Out-of-plan add on - see: https://cdn.smarty.co.uk/files/SMARTY-Price-Guide.pdf
to pay for data at 2p per Mb (megabyte not gigabyte) and 10p per min for calls (texts are included as if in the UK strangely)

Have you turned roaming on in your phone ?
Do you have signal where you are ?
When roaming, it’s a good idea to manually select a network, rather than let your phone automatically select a network, as they sometimes don’t pick the network with the strongest signal
