auto renewal with no permission

Hi

I did not sign up for auto renewal, yet you auto renewed my plan anyway. I was not planning to use the sim this month and now Ive gone and wasted 9 pounds. If you did go and auto renew my plan without specifying when I got the sim, the least  I would expect is for you to let me know a day or 2 before that my plan is renewing, so that I can take action. Just to say that its renewed and the payment went through, this is highly unprofessional and Im severely disappointed. I am a new customer and feel Ive been wronged. I have now turned off auto renew but its too late for this month. Im requesting you to please refund me this months money if you want me to continue with smarty. Awaiting your helpful response.

Unfortunately @yehudis_3300393 it was your responsibilty to check if auto renew was on. I'm sure at some point of signing up to the plan (probably in the T&Cs) you would have been notified that it would be automatically renewed each month unless turned off.
With many, if not all, subscriptions whether it be a monthly SIM contract or annual computer protection software this setting is always 'on'. It is a great way for services to make money, as people like yourself don't check and therefore the money gets taken out when the renewal is due.
