I have a OnePlus 7pro, and I'm getting complaints from callers that they can hear their voice as an echo. I have switched off voice recording, but it's still happening. Can anyone help?

Hi,
has a solution been found to resolve this issue as I'm experiencing it too. WiFi calling in Airplane mode and there is no echo for the recipient caller.
Samsung S20 5G
Full telephone signal
Recipient caller turns volume down still happens
I turn volume down and still happens
WiFi calling off, WiFi off and still happens
WiFi calling off, WiFi off, mobile internet off and still happens

RESOLVED
Simple resolution! Turn the phone off and on again and this fixes the echo! No longer an issue!

Tell us about all you have tried to reduce complaints of echoing, that way we can make suggestions that don't receive a "tried that" type response

Have gone online and tried all that I can find. There are other settings I cannot access as it appears that most of the "resolutions" are not for android 12 and relate to a different settings menu

There shouldnโt be that much of a difference in the settings menu between different versions of Android
If you have still got the manual for your one plus 7 Pro, have a look at that, Google it, or even Google โOnePlus 7 Pro Manualโ, as there are a few websites that offer various downloadable manuals or various tech products, free of charge

And what you've just told me is a whole load of "I've tried something, but am not able or willing to say exactly what I've I've done"
Good luck.

@KarenRe_2233979 I had a similar issue on my iPhone 14 Pro, and found the culprit was WiFi calling. I switched this feature off and it solved my problemโฆso I now only use this feature when I am in a area with a very poor signal. At home I get 1-2 bars of 5G connectivity, which is plenty enough to make and receive calls for meโฆOf course, it equally could be other problems your phone, your connection, so just an idea to try if you are using the Wi-Fi calling feature

Call recording may be one answer, and you have sorted that out.
There may be other causes too. A quick online search has produced the following that may help:

Have you asked your callers to reduce their volumes even slightly?
