313 TopicsUnable to get IPv6 address
I’m seeing mixed information on whether SMARTY/Three provides IPv6, so I’m hoping someone can clarify. I’m using a 4G/LTE router (not a phone). The router supports IPv6 and is configured for dual-stack (IPv4/IPv6) with IPv6 auto-config enabled, and I’ve also tried requesting prefix delegation. The SIM connects fine for IPv4, but the WAN interface only ever shows a link-local IPv6 address (fe80::…), never a global IPv6 address or delegated prefix. APN in use is three.co.uk. Does SMARTY currently provide IPv6 for data connections, and if so: is it available on all plans/SIMs, or only certain ones? is there a specific APN or setting required to get IPv6 working on routers? do you support IPv6 prefix delegation for LTE routers? Any guidance appreciated. Thanks in advance.95Views2likes1CommentCan't send texts and not conencting to my wifi
I have recently transferred my new number to Smarty having been a longstanding customer previously. The switchover email confirmation was received today. However my phone prompted me to do an update but I still can't send any texts and it will no longer connect to my home wifi. I have already topped up my credit/plan on this phone. Any advice what I can do?23Views0likes1CommentIs the Cudy LT300 Compatable
I’ve just bought a SMARTY SIM and a Cudy LT300 router. The smarty sim works fine in my phone, but it won’t work in the router, even though my Vodafone sim works perfectly in it. Does this mean the smarty sim isn’t compatible with this lower end router?16Views0likes1CommentRegularly without data service
Team, not sure if anyone else is affected in the South East of England, but I'm regularly facing issues with Smarty data. Whether in Berkshire where I live, or Woking town centre where i was yesterday, just constantly I'm having issues with slow or no data, even if i have multiple bars and 4G showing. It's getting to the point where I'm thinking about leaving them because it's so bad.39Views1like1CommentAlmost no telephone reception
Two iPhone 16e at home and almost no reception, two bars if I am lucky. Notification of missed call often arrives hours later. Have tried all suggestions for altering settings. Postcode LE7, this has been going on for some time, months. I can only assume it is a network problem, three.23Views0likes2CommentsNo Service
I have been a Smarty Customer since February 2026. Since that time I have had two days access to calls and text. Up until yesterday I had no issue with mobile data. Mother's Day data stopped completely and I was automatically logged out of the Smarty App. I do not have WiFi at home so rely on my phone to keep in contact with people. It is unsatisfactory for me to pay for a unlimited plan but not get that service. I do not know how you will contact me as I am no longer connected to the internet. 😢44Views1like3CommentsAnyone else not registering on network in Falmouth?
For the past two days my phone is not registering my sim card onto the network in Falmouth? Service status just keeps saying there is a signifigant issue in the area and will be fixed as soon as possible! Not exactly the reliable service I was expecting and the info is vague. If anyone has any idea what the issue is and a ETA on a fix I would be most grateful. Oddly I get full bar signal.....so it is not a signal issue.....and looking at the data returned from the handshake it seems my Smarty Sim is failing authorisation? Thankfully I have access to wifi calling at home, however I would like to know what the issue is and when it will be resolved by.51Views1like3CommentsGetting 4F VoTLE working on my Samsung S10+ Phone?
Hi All, I have a Samsung S10+ phone which, according to the Specification Sheet, should enable 4G calls (4G VoLTE) to be enabled on my phone. I'm running Android version 12 (also a requirement). Yet the 4G VoLTE option doesn't appear under the Mobile Network settings? Instead it shows 'LTE/3G/2G' as the only option. Does anyone have experience of how to solve this issue please? I've just joined Smarty, which required a new SIM, so it's not that! I have been unable to find any cause for this issue so far... Many Thanks!!! Susanna1View0likes0Comments
