I’ve moved over from EE to Smarty. I got the text and email to say my original phone number had been ported over yesterday but I’ve not been able to receive any OTP’s from my bank and hence no access to my account. I’ve been told to wait, take SIM card out, turn phone on and off update / reset network settings but as yet nothing had worked.  Does anyone have a similar experience or can offer any solutions ? I’ve tried with two different account I have and am not getting these security texts ?

You’re not alone! There are posts over on the THREE and iD Mobile support forums all reporting issues with receiving OTPs.

We're raised this issue internally and it's currently being investigated. We don't have any details we can share at the moment though, sorry.

Hello, I’ve began receiving them for one of my bank accounts which is good as they don’t give me the option to email the code however I’m still not getting them for the others luckily I have the option to receive the OTP by email for those.  I just hope it’s a matter of time before they all start coming through & work for my other accounts.

I'm in the same situation as you.

Switched to Smarty a week ago and can't access online banking because I can't receive the bank's verification code. About to go back to my last provider, who I was with for NINE YEARS. They might not give me eleventy-bajillion gig to Netflix all day, but they sure let me run my personal finances without interference!

 Reagh_an I know how you feel not to have access to these vital services.  I’m just going to sit it out and see if they start coming through.  I’ve started getting them for one account and hope the wrest will follow suit.  Luckily for the others I can choose to have the codes emailed.  Good luck and best wishes
