Messaging number error

Hi, just joined and had my old number ported across but my messaging is still coming from my pre ported number. Can you help?

How long ago did you request your number to be ported?

I'm assuming you've had the SMS from Smarty saying the number has been ported.  If the number port was in the last day or two, there may be some technical crossover hitches, which should sort themselves out fairly soon.

If they still carry on, then contact a Smarty Agent via Webchat.  They'll be able to look into your account and sort any potential problems out.

@PaulHic_2206710 Please check your Settings in the phone and manually change the number if necessary. If it's an iPhone, turn off Messaging and FaceTime and then turn them back on again.

Have you tried a NETWORK RESET on the handset used with your SMARTY SIM card @PaulHic_2206710

Doing this often fixes this type of issue - your handset user guide should explain how to do this.
