If you want help, I think we need more than just the information you've given us!
Something along the lines of the following would help:
Have you activated your SIM?
What are you using to use the Smarty users forum (the device with the SIM or another device)?
What are your phone settings for data usage?
Has the payment for your plan gone through?
Have you received confirmation of that from Smarty?
etc

As he posted at 05.20 UK time this morning, I wonder whether @MickMcG53 is an early riser, or is abroad in a different time zone, in which case of course his APN needs to be changed to ‘mob.asm.net’

Hey @JJP2 totally random but does the APN used for 'roaming' differ from what should be used in the UK? Currently I use `mob.asm.net' (I assume this saves me from having to change it manually later if I go abroad).
If that is the case, then we'd never need to change our APN settings I guess? Quick search for 'smarty data settings' reveals the same APN information to the one used also for "roaming".

Yes, the APN can differ when you originally activate a Smarty SIM card.
However, the “factory set” APN only works here in the UK
An APN of ‘mob.asm.net’ works both here in the UK and also abroad, so I set mine to this APN and just leave it.

IF you are in the UK, have you tried to check network status where you are?
