Waiting for sim card to arrive. Will the wifi calling work automatically or do I have to set the phone up? My phone (approved on Smarty list) is Google Pixel 6.

You don't set anything up, you simply enable WiFi calling located within the phone settings and your good to go.

My Pixel 6 does not have wifi calling option BUT I think it is because my current provider, Tesco mobile, does not support it. I will try once I get the sim card.

I've a Pixel 4a and it's all automatic, it just started working when I was in a supermarket with no signal one day, overall it works really well too! 😀

Good to know. Pixel 4a is not on Smarty list of phones. So, there are phones that work but not on the Smarty list

@Finwizzard The list is not exhaustive, but contains the ones they have tested presumably.

All phones with the capability of wifi calling will work, regardless of whether they are on any network's "approved list"
I am typing this on my Asus Zenfone 9, which works just fine on Smarty, even though its not its "approved list"
It also worked well in Arizona in April, with the American sim card I bought, despite mainly iPhones and Samsung's being on "approved lists" across the pond.
Once you put your Smarty SIM in your Pixel, just turn on wifi calling, and you are good to go 👍

I have just put smarty sim in a pixel 4a phone (not activated yet). Wifi calling is turned on and am connected to my internet with full bars on. However I get an error. Any reason how to resolve this.

The Smarty sim is activated. Tried turning on the Airplane mode and call a number. Again, the message as above.
