Transferring my previous number

Hi, I initiated the transfer of my previous number to Smarty earlier today which was accepted and confirmed, with a completion date of 06/04/2023. I’ve just logged into my account to find that they’ve moved the completion date to 11/04/2023. Is this right? I really needed the transfer to be operational by the 11/04/2023 as I’m going away and need my phone as my previous provider was PAYG. Any advice welcomed, thanks in advance.

Did you give your PAC to SMARTY before 5pm on 05-Apr-2023 @EmmaCha_1954990?
If yes, then the transfer should be completed tomorrow (the next working day, i.e. 06-Apr-2023).

If submitted after 5pm, your transfer won't be completed until 11-Apr2023, due to the Bank Holiday weekend.

Hi, thanks for the reply. The request was accepted at 8.18am on 05/04/2022. All looked good to complete by 5pm 06/04/2023 but now the date has been changed to the 11/04/2023. 

Sounds like it's time for a web chat with Support Team to find out why the date changed. They should be able to give you an answer.

It's not much consolation @EmmaCha_1954990, but you're entitled to compensation for the delay, explained online at https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/6955692-port-in-right-to-compensation

I guess if customers don't claim when entitled, there'll be "MoreMalarkey" "LessSMARTY" and things won't improve.

Mobile number transfers should be done on schedule - it's a regulatory requirement.

I had 4 weeks no service never got any help or problem resolved i cotacted smarty every day their answer we working on it the team is working on it 4 weeks and i left
