I have a smarty Sim and the setup an additional member on a family plan I have tried to port a number over to the additional member using the old number and pac code when I have completed this process I don't get any acknowledgment but they are processing my request is this normal or should I get some sort of acknowledgment

If you have ported your number to the SIM it will take 24 hours to transfer once the SIM is activated. You will notice your SIM will stop working temporarily, this means the number is in transition.
