I am sadly leaving smarty and having an absolute nightmare getting them to port my number, anyone got a solution for this? just no communication back to my messages or emails.

@BenBorma_573047 Have you tried to get a PAC via your dashboard: https://smarty.co.uk/dashboard/settings/manage-plan (third box down)
Not sure why it would be necessary to send any messages or emails - they should provide a Pac to you so that you can give your number and that code to your new network.

I have done all this but my new provider has stated that they are not filling my number for release. They are aware but wont reply to me on the chat now its a nightmare

The gaining provider is 100% responsible for completing the number transfer @BenBorma_573047 - those are the OFCOM rules for mobile number portability.
I suppose you could have a problem if you asked SMARTY for a PAC, got your PAC, and then submitted it to the new service provider all within a couple of hours.
I don't think any of the service providers have real-time systems for dealing with number transfers.
Unfortunately, all you can do is hassle your new service provider if you're in a hurry.
You're entitled to compensation from the new provider for each day the number transfer is delayed though.
Hopefully, the transfer will be completed soon.
