Good evening. I have had a SMARTY connection for some time now. The main reason was that SMARTY offered WiFi Calling, and I have a WiFi Calling enabled phone, whereas the previous service provider did not.
I live in Bow E3 2DS - for several weeks now the reception has been very poor and the information on the Network Status checker hasn't changed. It's also difficult to make or receive calls in the Olympic Park as well.
Whilst I'm not a power user of the system and I do have another service providers SIM card as back-up in my phone I can't find any information on why there is a problem.
It seemed to coincide with the move of 3 to Vodafone/Virgin Media.
I have followed the suggestions on the Network pages and turned the device off and tried the SIM in another phone I suppose the next thing is to move the number back to the other service provider! I can't keep coasting along without any service.
If anyone can shed any light on this problem I would be grateful of a response. I am unsure who to speak to.
