NN18 8AG area, 3 network state maintainace work with slow traffic in this area but Smarty say no problem.
I have 5g with 2 bars but service drops out along with glitches in connection.
Network connections deleted & re-inputed but problem still persists.
Is there anything else to try before I bin this sim and move to O2?
Thanks in advance J

IV12 5DE has been abysmal for days. Downloadspeed NEVER exceeds 1Mbps. Smarty keep saying congestion and engineer working on it. Absolute garbage, it's a sh1t service and they are just ripping off customers. Corporate greed is alive and well at smarty. Will be cancelling on Monday when finished working here and heading home.

@Michael_3358657 No mention of engineer working on it today.
Given that this is not the same everywhere, they re not ripping off customers generally. From your postcode, looks like you are at a resort where the number of users of the mast can fluctuate greatly. Also, Smarty do not own the mast, so it is not all down to them.
As you say, you are not tied to the network after the end of your month. It might be interesting to see if any other network performs much better in that area.

So customer agents are liars as they told me engineer was working on the problem
Take off your smarty glasses and read what they say about their £20 monthly unlimited data sim.
Blatantly false advertising

@Michael_3358657 It says 'no speed restrictions'. That means that they are not restricting the speeds. What you experience is down to congestion and not a deliberate restriction.
I do not wear Smarty glasses - I simply speak as I find, whereas you are making a sweeping generalisation based upon experience in one place.

@JasonBa_1078376 Just saw your comment to this effect on another thread and have replied there.
Just as a gentle reminder......Probably best never to publish personal details like postcode on public forums.

It is an Industrial estate. Not a home address, but shocking how poor service is in the area. Along with what seems poor understanding of how Smarty uses the 3 Network, and informing customers of network being good yet '3' state ongoing mast works!

@JasonBa_1078376 Thanks for clarifying that.
Perhaps worth a complaint if info from Smarty does not match what 3 say?
