What is happening with 3
For over a year now I have had great service from my Smarty "3" SIM. For the past week or so though, the service has plummeted. It is the same on PC, my Phone and my tablet so it definitely is the provider that is bad. So slow it never actually gets there at the moment. Just very briefly sometimes it works OK, but that is very sporadic. My phone hotspot - O2 - is working perfectly. What is wrong with 3 at the moment and is there any sign of improvements coming up?683Views0likes1CommentRe: Is it Smarty (3) or my old nifi router?
Thank you.....I think you're right...after several days of terrible internet, everything seems to have returned to an acceptable level of service. I had heard that mast upgrading for 5g was taking time and I assume that's what it could have been.1.2KViews0likes0CommentsIs it Smarty (3) or my old nifi router?
When i first joined Smarty about 8 months ago I was well pleased with the dowmload speed and performance. Lately though the whole shebbang has been getting slower and slower. The mifi has never moved from it's spot and the PC is fine. I tried a hotspot setting on my phone (different provider) and the speed is spot-on. So it must be either the router or Smarty itself. My Huawei mfi is 6 years old (4g). Is it worth getting a newer one or would I be wasting my money?1.3KViews0likes2CommentsRe: help with unsecured (but safe) website
Thanks. Maybe I should have googled it first. I thought it was .co.uk or .com. You are correct...it is .net. However. An incorrect address usually comes up with something - even if it's not what you want. On this occasion, my wrong address just showed a blank screen, leading me to think it had been blocked.3.1KViews1like1Commenthelp with unsecured (but safe) website
Hello, I'm a newcomer to Smarty. My new SIM is fully activated and internetting away quite happily. However, A website I have used a couple of times in the past with no problem appears to be being blocked by Smarty as "unsecured"...The website in question is "www.skyscanners.co.uk". How can I access this website now please?3.1KViews0likes3Comments
