What is happening with 3

For over a year now I have had great service from my Smarty "3" SIM.

For the past week or so though, the service has plummeted. It is the same on PC, my Phone and my tablet so it definitely is the provider that is bad. So slow it never actually gets there at the moment.

Just very briefly sometimes it works OK, but that is very sporadic.

My phone hotspot - O2 - is working perfectly. What is wrong with 3 at the moment and is there any sign of improvements coming up?

@stephen_2024386  A number of people have commented to similar effect recently. Is it connected with the 3G turn off and waiting for 4G upgrade?

Thing is, as we are mere forum members, we don't get that much info.
