A long time ago I was given a 2Gb data add by Smarty as a 'sorry' for a mess-up.
I generally don't use much data via mobile as I am often in places with wifi; the data add on hardly went down and equally I rarely used much data from my monthly plans....

@Imogen-aRhodie Once you have activated the sim correctly, you will see the allocated number on your Account Dashboard. You don't need to transfer your old number from a previous network if you do not wish to.
@RickMedf_230430 This is not a generalised problem. Smarty has worked for me today calling both mobile and landline numbers.Perhaps do a coverage check and also a network status check.
@SusanKa_3437685 Does the transferred in number show in your account dashboard on the website? (App is not as reliable in my opinion). If it has and the phone has had a network reset, then you do need Smarty Support to investigate.Unlimited phone cal...
