Hi,
I am going abroad for a year and coming back to the UK. So while abroad, I will not be using my SMARTY sim or number, is it possible for me to keep the phone number and sim active without paying for a plan for the duration of the year?
Thanks!

@Deiiiosoeisiei In summary, no. If you do not use the sim for 180 days, then you receive a warning email of deactivation after a further 40 days.
It looks like you will need to buy at least one plan within the year, just at the 6 months list should be OK. It can be the smallest plan. You would need to turn off auto renew in your account dashboard and make a note in your diary.

So I am currently on the 10 pound monthly plan that is set to bill me again after 18th of June. If I pause my recurring payment and change my plan to a monthly rolling 6 pound plan within the 6 month mark will that work?
Thanks for your help!!

@Deiiiosoeisiei I think that you will need to remove the auto-renew and then no plan will be purchased. After the date you set in your diary, you can go into the account and buy a one off £6 plan - it does not need to be a rolling plan. When you get back, you can then set up whatever plan you need on auto-renew.
