@EmmaBil_2209431 I'm assuming that you have an active sim plan with Smarty before going.
Have you turned on roaming in your phone settings?
It may be that the phone has locked on to a local network and now there is poor signal.
You could also try turning off the automatic network selection and then choose one of the networks that show up until you get a good one.
