Have just joined Smarty. Number successfully ported. Can send and receive SMS and use internet but cannot receive or make calls.

You need to make sure that your handset is supported by SMARTY and that VoLTE is enabled.

I have been taking on Chat for hours now and still not got the issue sorted. According to the SMARTY web site my phone is compatible. VoLTE is enabled. I have been using 4G with my previous provider. The last person I spoke to on Chat has said he will pass the issue to the backroom team and they will get back to me in three to five days.

@DianaCo_3289736 Unfortunately, VoLTE on one network ain't necessarily the same as on another network. We seem to have seen, as an example, cases of a phone working on 3 but not on Smarty.
The page on the website does give details of phones that are definitely not compatible, but it does not give an exhaustive list of those that are compatible.

Thanks for your reply. Although my phone was not listed as being incompatible on the web site it does go on to explain how you can check that it is compatible - ie look for 4G under preferred network which it does. Either way it appears that using SMARTY isn't going to work for me and I'll be moving elsewhere.
