Hello,  I've just purchased a mobile wi-fi box . I was wondering if I could control 2 sim cards on my smarty app? 1 sim for data and one for my calls and texts. It would be so much easier if this could happen.  Thanks

I do exactly this using a SMARTY group plan, @GavinPe_1777204

My data only SIM is the group owner, and my handset SIM is a group member. Both my plans are managed from one online account.

The above online articles should help in this situation.

@GavinPe_1777204 You should be able to form a group with the two sims (you do need a separate email address to run each account). You (as the Group Owner) can then view each account from the Smarty app.

Hey @MSF, it's possible to create a 'personal' group, where both plans are managed from the same SMARTY online account, via a single username (email address).

I do this with my handset SIM and my laptop data-only SIM plans (from SMARTY). Only one email address is required in this case, when managing your account online.

@Chalkychap  Thanks for that....I stand corrected then! I thought that you still needed a separate email for each sim. Is there somewhere that points this out on the website?

Okay @MSF, the crucial piece of information for this option is below:

I chose the "nickname SIM" option for my group plan.

This is explained at https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/3417277-what-is-a-group-plan.

The crucial thing here is "member SIM" or "nickname SIM" - the latter option could be what you're looking for @GavinPe_1777204

@Chalkychap @GavinPe_1777204 @MSF - An important thing to know is that you cannot disband a nickname group member from a group, as it shares one email address/ account.

You can only disband group members who have their own registered email address/ account.
