Hey all, has smarty changed the way auto payments are processed? I always try to keep some funds in ready for my smartybag๐ฅด but if I did miss it, the would try again the next day. But today I was cut off instantly and had to pay to get service restarted.
Bit harsh really, surely a day ls grace would be better (like last time)

Hi Stephen,
You have until 12pm to pay for your SMARTY account if payment fails. Failure to do so can result in your account being suspended. I hope this helps ๐. - Natalie

@Stephen_2607686 To be fair, Smarty are giving you until the end of the day to have the funds in place, so is it really that harsh?
Not sure that the local supermarket would give you the bottle of milk if you didn't have funds in place to pay for it - and that would mean immediately.

You do make a valid point, but I'm sure it's changed? This happened last year, and they tried to take it out the next day before service was terminated. I know this was the was with Voxi (Vodafone) they attempt three times, then cut you off.

@Stephen_2607686 I'm not sure if it has changed. As you say though, Voxi may have a different policy.
Let's face it, when Voxi started, they wouldn't accept any customer over 30. That didn't last too long though - I suspect that discriminating on age grounds proved a tad difficult for them!
