@Unitysounduk There have been other reports of this. Have you looked at Coverage and Network Status for your area first?
There are suggestions of congestion on some masts and sometimes properties are shielded from receiving a good signal.

Hi thank you for your reply
It's been happening for months now I got a new phone because I believed it was the phone but it's not it's the SIM I ordered a replacement SIM but still having the same issue with the new SIM

So how does replacing your phone prove that the phone wasn't the issue, but replacing the SIM proves that the SIM was the issue?

Hi thank you for your reply
I replaced the phone for a new phone thinking it was the phone but still have the same drop calls with the new phone I got a replacement SIM but still the drop calls
Leading me to believe it an issue with the network
Iv tried a different SIM on a different network in the new phone with no issues
This issue has been happening for months
Any ideas on why ?

@Unitysounduk So it's looking like a poor signal level where you are. You have looked at the phone and the sim and excluded problems with either of those - it just leaves the signal.
Has it been worse since 3G was turned off? More pressure on 4G and 5G signal?

It happens randomly it's been happening since the switch off of 3G since February 2024 when it happens I still have like 3 bars of reception

@Unitysounduk What makes and models are the two phones you've tried? Are they definitely compatible with Smarty's 4G calling (which is not the same thing as them supporting 4G calling generally)?

@Unitysounduk Well, there is no 'compatible' list, just an incompatible list, but I don't think it's comprehensive.
Ultimately, if these issues started when Three's 3G switch off started, and you seem to have decent signal strength where you are, and SIMs from other networks are not having an issue, it does point to incompatibility with Smarty's VoLTE probably being the issue.
Before the 3G switch-off, did your S23 used to drop down to 3G when you made or received calls?

No my s23 ultra didn't drop to 3g when making calls
Both phones are compatible with voLTE calls both s23 and s24 ultra

@Unitysounduk As I mentioned, being compatible with VoLTE, and being compatible with Smarty's specific VoLTE configuration, are not the same thing.
Have you noticed any common theme with the dropped calls? For example, do they always happen after a certain amount of time? Are they always incoming/outgoing calls?
