Has anyone else noticed the poor service since three and Vodafone merged. Texts are taking a day to be delivered, didn’t think too much of it when it first happened but then I heard in the news that they had merged. Always had this problem with Vodafone both personally and with a business account. Think I may have to move from Smarty.

Awful signal, can't make a phone call, loses contact while using sat nav, no WiFi calling. Please tell me that with the merger signals will improve, I have actually cancelled one of my three Sims (the one for my phone) as I can't afford not to be able to make or receive calls. I am praying the signal strength and stability will improve and quickly as I don't want to leave Smarty but I may well have to

@BrianBa_3415074 You mentioned that the phone loses contact while using sat nav - is that away from home as well as any home?
Not sure that we (as humble customers like your good self) can tell you that things will improve. This does not affect all areas. We seem fine all around here and have replaced using landline(at huge expense)with only using mobiles at home - hope I haven't jinxed it now 😱!

Hi
My phone, which is a Motorola g54 5g, has no connection outside at my son's home Mexborough South Yorkshire, I have very poor reception at my holiday home near Hornsea and lost contact 3 times between the two places, I was on O2 previously and that never happened, so all I can say is that 3 signal is by far the worst of the big 4 for me

@BrianBa_3415074 Have you always had the problem or is it just since using this phone? Others have reported a similar problem and I wonder if it is maybe not compatible with the specific VoLTE protocol used by Smarty.

Can't really answer that as only used this phone for Smarty, all I can say is had no problems with O2 except the ever rising cost lol
All I have seen is smartphone types need to be authorised by Smarty to use WiFi calling mine albeit a relatively new phone is not on the list to be honest if that is the case it should be mentioned before people buy Smarty Sims, it is something I have never heard of before but something I researched after being unable to get WiFi calling

My connection is now really poor. Previously I had a problem free service. But now Even a quick DuckDuck or google search isn't connecting and tethering is stable for only a few minutes at a time. I'm in North Lincolnshire (DN21) but previously internet my was allegedly coming from Kent - without any issues until the merger. May have to find another provider ..... which is a shame as Smarty offer great deals .....

Check for any carrier updates. My iPhone 14 had one recently.

Mines most definitely improved but maybe a fluke

@ChrisCo_2240579 No difference here. The merger has been ongoing for a while and only recently completed.

Tbh I haven’t noticed any difference.
