Poor downloads

My 3 sim is 5 bars and 75 download.

Smarty SIM in same phone at same location is  5 bars and 2.5. 

Any suggestions?

Are you checking them on the same day and time i.e. remove Smarty sim and insert 3 sim?

Have you done a network check to see if there are any reported issues?

Hi you have had a couple of answers which are all good however if you had three on your dual sim phone and the smarty sim is replacing another network try resetting your network settings. It will delete all connection info including any Wi-Fi connections you have and you will go through your phones operating system setup for dual sim but it maybe that clearing out old network data will allow the smarty sim to forced a clean settings update. It’s a long shot but it might just help depending on what phone it is

Thanks for the reply. It's a clean install and the Smarty settings are as specified in the help info. WiFi was switched off. Tried different speed testers. Switched off and on between Sim switches.

Mobile networks can be seriously affected by congestion. If you are checking at peak times this is why you are seeing a difference in speeds.

The more devices connected the slower the speeds you will experience. This is why the 5G roll out is so important. Once of the biggest benefits of 5G is how many devices can connect to a mast without impacting speeds

Dual SIM phone. Was sitting having a coffee. Switched between Sims. Switched phone off and on. Took Sims out and switched them over. No difference. Three was excellent, Smarty not so much.
