I was given my I phone by son in law but now Iโm going back to a Samsung will this SIM card still work or will I need a new one and how do I keep my number? thanks.

As above ๐ but the new phone will need to be an 'unlocked one' that is not tied to an individual provider as the sim won't work (and you probably won't know until you insert it) but other than that......

In addition to the helpful advice from @Strandloper if your Samsung is one of their recent models, it will probably take the same side SIM as an iPhone, which is called a nano SIM.
As @Strandloper has already said, you may have to tweak a few settings, but nothing too drastic. Make sure the APN is set to โmob.asm.netโ so that you can access the internet on it.

If the SIM fits into your Samsung it will work.
You may need to adjust some settings on your Samsung, such as setting it up for roaming.
If the SIM is too small, you may need to contact a Smarty Agent to have a replacement SIM sent out to you that is set up with your existing number.
