My daughter is going to Kenya for 2 weeks - do I need to do anything to enable her phone to text/make calls etc?

Hello @InnesCha_128176 . You will need to add plenty of credit to the account before you can use the phone in Kenya unfortunately.

You may be better off seeing if you can purchase a local sim in the country or else relying on freebie wi-fi in hotels etc.

If your daughter has an esim compatible phone, would be worth looking at the travel esim providers, 'Airalo' and 'Holafly'

There are plenty of videos on YouTube about travel esim providers, just search 'Airalo' and 'Holafly'
