Hi, I haven't received my SIM yet, but had a few questions:
1 My account page does not have much functionality, will this change once I activate my SIM?
2 If I navigate away from my dashboard, I seem unable to navigate back again; there does not seem to be a button to take me straight back to the dashboard.
3 My contract says that I will get double the data "for up to 15 months", which seems a bit vague. Does anyone know how long the offer actually runs for, and why don't they give a definite figure?
4 I haven't been offered two factor authentication on my account; is this something that will be offered after activation of my SIM?

1. Yes once your SIM is activated, you will have more functionality.
2. When I am logged in on my own dashboard I can navigate to the dashboard by selecting the menu in the top right.
3. We say 15 continuous months, as you will be able to use the promotion for up to 15 continuous months, if you pause your plan you may not be bale to use the same promotion. The promotion which is currently double data offers 80GB of data with unlimited calls and texts.
4. We would normally send a code to you after logging in as 2 factor authentication.

Hi Rebekah, thanks for your reply. The point I was making is that it says "up to" 15 months, which seems to mean it could be less than that. So do you mean that if I keep it on continuous renewal then I will definitely get 15 months?
I have logged in a few times now, and it has not asked me to set up two factor authentication.

@DavidB-3335558 In her point 3, @Rebekah_150 mentions that pausing your plan could interrupt the offer.
Must admit, I haven't seen Two factor verification either.

Hi, in previous info on the forum from last year or so, they said they had introduced it, so I wonder why it is not being offered now. It would help guard against SIM swap fraud.

When I log into my account, it is something that will prompt from time to time, but not always.

@Rebekah_150 Still strange as I have never seen 2-FA when I log in. I use Safari and very often don't seem to need to log in formally at all as it seems to remember me day on day.

@DavidB-3335558 The plot thickens!! There is an article about it from way back: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/5390803-improving-the-security-of-your-account-through-multi-f... so it's most odd that I haven't seen it either as I've been customer for a long time.

How do I message an employee to get a definitive answer?

2 factor authentication commonly appears on new devices, or if you havent logged on in a while. If you are logging onto a remembered device it may not prompt.

@Rebekah_150 Not sure you can, other than via web chat with Smarty Support or as a Complaint that may reach further up the management chain.
That said, you did get a response from an employee - @Rebekah_150 the Moderator I believe works for the company.
