Is anyone else having issues

I've just transferred over to Smarty with a new SIM, I've transferred my old number over to keep using it. The problem is I can't receive text or calls but I can make them. I can't get through to anyone on the chat. Help!!

Sorry to hear that you are having problems.

When did you transfer over your number? It may not be an instantaneous transfer.

Have you done the 'turn off, wait, then turn on again' trick?

In your settings, does your correct phone number show? On your dashboard, does your correct number show?

The web chat is open 08:00 - 20:00, so you don't usually have to wait too long for a reply.

Yes my number finally changed over. But I was still having issues with sending text messages but we worked out that it was something to do with my Google account . So it is all sorted now 

Great to see that things worked out.

We do have a webchat avalible 8am-8pm. Some times users get stuck talking to the bot a great tip for that one is just saying "Speak to a human" and we will connect you to the next avalible agent.

I think @DavidTr_1881840 has a similar issue @Rochell_1907939

Some useful tips from @MSF though. 

A network reset appears to have cured the problem.

As often with technology the answer is hiding in plain sight.

 

I thought I had already reset things!!
