Hi,
I have a dormant Smarty SIM in my phone, if I rejoin Smarty will this SIM become active or will I have to wait for a new SIM?

There is hope, as long as your account hasn’t been dormant for six months or more.
Can you still log into your account ? If yes, then your account hasn’t been closed, and you can purchase a new plan.

Depends on how long it’s been dormant - If you have not had an active Smarty plan for 6 months or more, Smarty close your account.
So, if you had a Smarty plan within the last six months, you should be OK. Anything over 6 months, a new SIM would be needed.

Mmm, OK, well my number still shows on my phone when looking at settings, does this mean there's hope?

You will be able to log into your account even if it has been closed but you are right as long as it hasn't been dormant for more than 6 months you should be able to activate the sim again
