I have just activated my new Data Only SIM card for use in my tp-link “Archer MR400” LTE Router.

The LED’s for the Power & Wi-Fi have lit up but not the Internet.

Question: Verify that this Data Only SIM Card is an LTE or WCDMA card.

So Have I made an error and bought the wrong card?

@WayneBr_2433898 The direct answer to your question is above my skill-set, but here goes anyway......Did you change the APN setting to mob.asm.net?

I must say, I didn't realise that there was any difference in SIM cards from Smarty.

SMARTY sim cards work with 5G, 4G (LTE) and 3G (WCDMA). SMARTY is in the process of decommissioning their 3G network, so you might not have access to their 3G (WCDMA) network if it has already been decommissioned in your area. Basically, if your device supports 5G, and you are in a 5G coverage area, then you will get 5G speeds. If your device supports 4G, and you are in a 4G coverage area, then you will get 4G speeds.
