Constant Poor Service

I joined Smarty as they said they provided a good service in St David's Pembrokeshire (SA62 6RR).  They lied as since I have been here I have consistently poor service, less that 1 m/b, using 4G and numerous outages.  All their service status checker says is we are working an issue or there is heavy usage on the mast near me.

Smarty sort out your network and it's availability as it sucks.

@MartynG A Coverage check for that postcode does indicate that there are a lot of weak areas around it where there is only signal outside.

A Network Status check shows that the network is being worked on at present.

Hi

I'm not sure what point you are trying to make here because you don't know exactly where I am located and whether it's inside or outside.  I've raised the issue because the advertised service does not match the actual one.  Sometimes it does but more often it doesn't which means there is an issue with the service.

Are you suggesting that I should just accept a poor service?

MG@GH-SOLUTIONS.COM

@MartynG  Hang on a minute! You gave us your postcode and I put it into the coverage Checker and the Network Status Checker to see what they said - of course I wouldn't know where you re otherwise. The checkers work on postcode - if you are next to a high-rise building full of steel or similar, that would affect your quality of signal.

Also, it may have escaped your notice, but this is the Community Forum and we are customers who see if we can be of help - we don't work for smarty and so cannot sort the service for you.

I pointed out that they say that Three (on whose network Smarty runs) are working on the network in your area.

Unfortunately, you may have no choice other than to move to a better network for you. Smarty obviously know that the area needs work and are getting it done.

Finally, if you are running a business as your final line suggests, then Smarty specifically states in T&C's that the service is for non-commercial use only.

I don't need to hang on at all.  All I've done is post on this forum that the service advertised is not one that I am receiving.  In addition to this your assumption about me running a business from here (which I never suggested I was) is as accurate as your help.

@MartynG  I would refer my learned friend to  the following -MG@GH-SOLUTIONS.COM

Not sure why you mentioned it in that case - it lead me to a website for an IT company.

With this attitude, you ain't likely to get any help! Many people have acknowledged the help and that's why I do it - you are making me question that policy.

OK, you are not getting what you thought you might get. Luckily, there is a 14-day cooling off period if that's the case. Good luck with your next network.

Hi

I would also refer you "my friend" to check if the company is active.

All I'm doing is using my experience in the IT industry to try and raise issues where necessary,  especially if they affect me and probably others using this service.

You just appear to be a keyboard warrior who is not adding any value to this thread.

Happy to help going forward using my 50 years experience in this industry but if you feel this is not required I will understand

@MartynG So, why would I check if the company is active when your post leads to the website by virtue of the final line?

If it's all about raising the issue of poor service, a more direct approach may be via the Complaints link; as you know, we are customers (and sometimes unhelpful in your view) so cannot do much about it.

@MartynG  "Keyboard Warrior"? I will refer you to my track record of Accepted Solutions and Kudos on this forum and let it speak for itself.
