Hi all,

Newb here. Why do I have to get a verification code every time I want to check my balance?

Apart from that, nice and simple system.

If you are using 2FA (Two Factor Authentication) then, each time you log into your account on the web, you will be given a verification code. You can avoid that by downloading the Smarty app.

@GildasG_2119373 I'll sum it up in two words.........personal security.

Companies have a duty to ensure the security of your personal data (GDPR). One way to do that is to try to ensure that only the customer (and of course the company) has access to their information and that some random person cannot sign into the account.

That's a fair comment. It's only a minor thing, a big thing for GDPR compliance, so I'll live with it.

@GildasG_2119373  If you don't actually sign out of your account, it is sometimes possible to 'refresh' the web page without signing in again with the two step process. Depends upon how your computer and browser are set up I think. (Apple + Safari seems to work)
