Updating Smarty phone number to ported number on iphone

I have just moved to Smarty form Talkmobile. I had a temporary number from Smarty until my ported number was transferred. Now that my original number has now been ported I am trying to update the Smarty number(settings/phone) and input my ported number. When I hit save, it doesn’t save the ported number but retains the Smarty number.

is this a known issue with Smarty?

@Patrick_2421502  Not particularly. Is it an iPhone? If so, perhaps try signing out of iMessage and FaceTime and then sign back in.
