I am very disappointed with smarty beyond belief. It's very restricting with multitude of problems. To start with, why every phone call goes automatically to "earphone "? This is absolutely ridiculous and annoying. I never in my life use this feature, my calls are alwYs silent and the caller cannot hear me and hangs up on almost every call. Stop controlling my calls, l want my calls to be normal. Secondly l Do Not want to record a name and a greeting to access my voice mail. I need to be able to access my voice mail without telling every single caller my name and a greetings, this is absolutely ridiclously frustrating and controlling. I am losing all my voicemail calls because of it. And l can't even disable my voicemail. Stop controlling me. I should have the freedom how to use my phone and wether to receive voicemail or not and how to greet callers without being restricted to giving a name. Another annoying feature is l lose connection halfway a call if it is more than few minutes long. Why why why. The worst telephone service ever.

Smarty is not controlling you - you have options.

Firstly, how can they make calls go to your "earphone"? That sounds like a phone setting.

Voicemail - just say one word(or get someone else so as not to identify your voice) and do not leave your name or number.

You can disable voicemail - you need to web chat with Support Team to request that.

Support is not via telephone call centre - this is a cost saving measure.

The good news---- if you don't find the service meets your needs, you are not stuck in a long contract and can move when your plan ends within the month.
