Now smarty supports esim, is it possible to use it with a samsung galaxy watch?
Will the same esim work in both phone and watch? Or will I need a separate esim (with new plan and number)?
Or do I need a smartwatch plan?

@Russell_1656720 While I'm not 100% sure, this article from Apple seems to suggest that only the major UK networks support Esim in Apple Watch: https://www.apple.com/uk/watch/cellular/#table-apple-watch

As smarty runs on the 3 network - will their eSims work in Apple Watch? The Apple table shows that 3 is compatible - - -

@Russell_1656720 I do see your point, but they run independently.
Smarty have only just recently adopted Esim - Three network have had it for a while though.

No. It won’t have the same number if you did

Thanks for the reply. Three network do a smartwatch add on that uses the same number for both watch and phone. Wondered if Smarty do this or plan to.

@Mally Three network advertise that you can share the allowance with a smartwatch if you buy the correct plan. They don't actually say that it will be the same sim as far as I can see. Maybe the esimin the watch then has a separate number?

@Mally As far as I am aware, you can only use one sim in one device at a time (Google search). Looks like you would need a separate one for the watch.
