Slow upload and download speed with Tp-link M7350

I recently purchased a Smarty sim card to work with a Tp-link M7350. I am connected ok. I have 3 and a bit to 4 bars on the 4G icon on my router. I have put "mob.asm.net" in APN in dial up settings for my router. I have selected 4g only. I am based in London, and using it inside a red brick house near windows. Network coverage is good.

However, the download and upload speed is 1 Mbps download, and 4 Mbps upload. Very slow!  I didn't purchase a "data only" sim, but a sim card that does, calls, text and data. Would this have any influence on performance? Any other ideas why my internet speed might be so slow?

I was getting 40mb+ on a Three Sim Card - UNLIMITED 4G/5G Data, Voice and Texts. But it was costing £26 for data only in the to link 4 g router.  Changed to Smarty in the same router, same location, and 3 network and not even half the speed but it cost £20.  I fortunately will have to pay more and get the bandwidth.

4G speeds on Three suck! Change network or get a 5G router.

ok, thanks for that. I have read similar opinions. I will see if I get any other options.
