Got a new SIM delivered, put in the iPad straight away, activated on here, it still shows no service. Tried turning it off and on again a few times, got the sim card out and put back in, it's in properly so no issues there. Please help

What does your dashboard say ?
Check that, and if it shows as activated and you have bought a plan, then open a webchat with Smarty.

@StuartG_1992899 Have you checked the settings for mobile data? Please see: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/1155220-using-the-internet-after-you-ve-joined-smarty
Also, does your account show the sim has been activated with a Smarty plan? I ask because you say that new sim was delivered and put in iPad straight away, then "activated on here" so wanted to check this carefully.
