Is there any compensation schemes running for this error? I'm left unable to make calls on my own number, this is getting ridiculous now!

I have checked my payment history and all seems to be normal, so frustrating!

FYI some numbers do work but most are failing, please be Smarty about this and fix your issues asap ffs

Hey  Mi_2490644 there are a few reasons this may have happened it would be best to contact our customer support team who can offer account specific information https://smarty.co.uk/contact available daily from 8am – 8pm.

This keeps happening to my partner, only with certain numbers. Chat just say turn on and off which obviously doesn't sort anything.

Okay @Shirley_1026186, I guess if your partner isn't satisfied with SMARTY's responses via web chat some other options are:

  • Try a replacement SMARTY SIM card.
  • Make a formal complaint.
  • Switch to another service provider.

Hopefully their issue gets resolved one-way-or-another.
🤞

I'm also having the same issue. It's not intermittent, but it is sporadic on which numbers it occurs with. If a number is one it happens with it will happen consistently.

It appears to be an issue a phone's interaction with the network. My phone a pixel 7 Pro seems to have the issue, but when I put my sim into a galaxy fold the call goes out just fine.

Same thing is happening to my pixel 7 pro. I did find an annoying solution which is to add the country code +44 instead of the 0. That seems to work for some reason.
