Are there certain plans currently subscribed users cannot switch to? I see a slightly cheaper plan with less data ( I don’t need all of what I have ) being advertised on Reddit and I’d like to switch to it but cannot work out how to.

Yet another weekend with no reception. Inside or outside the house. I don’t live in a remote area and should be able to expect to make calls and send text messages at the weekend. Completely unacceptable. https://ibb.co/fGvFSfP9

Just as an update; The representative was kinda helpful this morning (approx 830am) and eventually said she would change my plan to the one requested. I’m not entirely sure it’s been done properly as my app now says it will change to a plan (8gb for £7) which isn’t the same as the one advertised (32gb for £7) which I was requesting, once my current plans renews next month.
But the most annoying thing is that ever since I spoke to her I’ve had no service, text or calls, and I’m having to use WiFi. Good job I’m at home. A second agent got me to reset my network setting which made no difference and eventually told me that there was a lot of congestion in my area and a lot of customers are connected to the same mast ! This isn’t acceptable.

@Nic1919535 As far as the new plan is concerned, it will currently show as 8Gb for £7 because you won't benefit until your next plan starts - they do not apply the offer midway through a month's plan.
Have you done a network status check to see if there is coincidentally a problem with a local mast today?

That’s fair enough regarding the plan, thanks.
Yes, I’ve done a check and there is apparently work happening in my area again - which makes this the third weekend in a row I’ve had no reception.

@Nic1919535 No harm in asking - you can have a web chat with Smarty Support to ask if they can do it.

Yes, thanks. I have been trying but I’m guessing they weren’t online. They open at 8 I believe?
