Number transfer issue

Hi. 
I set up a new iphone with the new sim and got the ok on an old number transfer. My friends see temp number not my old number that I transferred. Is it settings?

Yes. Assuming you're on iOS 18, go to Settings > Apps > Messages. Toggle off 'iMessage', wait 10 seconds, then toggle it back on again. Tap 'Send & Receive', and with a bit of luck you should see your correct phone number with a blue tick next to it after a few seconds.

@JamesMc_2959415  Advice as per @SmartyTrousers . If this is still not enough then also log out of FaceTime and then back on again, finally you may need a Network Reset in Settings.
