I cannot believe it I paid my bill in full 3 days ago and yet this morning Christmas day I am unable to use my phone , my service has been cut off , this will cost Smarty a customer. Will now find a more reliable provider .

@ColinCu_2300280  When you say "I paid my bill in full 3 days ago", do you mean that you purchased a new Smarty plan.

When you look at your account dashboard, does it show that plan as active?

Have you checked the Network Status Checker for any local problems?

Yet again, I have been cut off, simply for changing the plan that SMARTY offered me to take as a recommended plan and a gift for Christmas as it is increased data. Well it certainly is not a gift that I well be forgetting. You did this to me in the first month, I joined And now you have accused me of not paying my bill suspended my account where I cannot even call using my Wi-Fi. It is Christmas day. All of you are no doubt enjoying the day and on your phones, speaking to family and friends, children, nieces, nephews, terminally, ill, relatives . I have PTSD and find it difficult to speak on the phone, now I’m probably ruining Christmas for my family everywhere and making my friends worry because I have not called them back or replied to their text messages. And there is nothing I can do about it . I can’t borrow someone’s phone, why? Because it is **bleep** Christmas day. What is wrong with you people. Suck your IT department and sack your customer service department and I suggest the managing director as a sit down with the CEO to discuss his future in the company . The first time you did this to me in September. You promised me I would be back connected within 24 to 48 hours 13 days later after being accused of miss using the network because you found sending text messages that worked out approximately 10 per day were excessive when I had  Unlimited. And used 300 minutes of my unlimited, which you also found to be excessive and against fair usage. I received no explanation, no formal apology, and no refund for the two weeks that I paid for in advance that you took from me, barring my calls on Wi-Fi  is ridiculous this should be only done after humans that’s capable. Have checked the algorithms are correct. I want my refund from the first time you imbeciles gave your brains a day off unlimbered me with two weeks of being excommunicated with the world. And now Christmas Day, I repeat Christmas day  And no doubt boxing day you will all be having a jolly up whilst I will still have to put up and so will this gentleman not being able to use our phones because you haven’t bothered to take on board anyone’s issues that’s how much your customers mean to you.

Yes I have been with Smarty for 4 months now and all payments have gone through, i even got a free upgrade no worries . however my last payment was paid on 20 december , but today I had to make a few calls but my service was cut off i  checked with network status but all is fine I dont know why they cut me off but as the office is closed today i will take the appropriate action in the morning

Does your phone show a signal?

Have you tried removing the sim and cleaning it gently?

 

I have checked and network is fine, let me correct myself. I have not checked my daughter has on her virgin O2 network phone. They seem like a jolly nice brunch of capable mobile phone network providers. You are a different breed I don’t know what chromosome you are missing or Extra to work for mobile phone network. I wish people with common sense are employed people that cared about the customers. Anyway sorry, is there anything else that you suggest I do and do you know when these people will be back so they can lie to me until computer says yes  in probably another 10 days.
