We can see performance improving back to normal levels and are working through the night to ensure this issue is fully resolved - we are closely monitoring this situation.

Some customers may still experience intermittent issues. We will update again in the morning.

Just taken 2 pay monthly sim only deals 18 June. Took over a week to transfer one number. This is not a good start.

Voice and text working here in the Highlands again!

Like wise here in Margate, Kent I appear to have voice call back working although there has been no mention of it by Three or Smarty that I can see!

My sim card have data and can received email. The only thing is CAN not make or receive the phone call.

All day long, I cannot receive calls or calls, and I was not told about the problem by SMS

All day with no calls.  Not even an email did I recieve **bleep** are you lot doing???? 

Absolute joke that we had no emails. We expect compensation. Think OFTEL need to be informed

Yes me too. I got it working last week by rebooting router and phone and the 64.2 but has gone again now

unable to make or receive calls - I received a text to say that I have a voicemail but no missed call in recent calls list - and I am unable to call Voicemail to retrieve anything.... just hangs and then goes to Call Failed screen.

The same thing happened earlier this week for a period of time

As Voicemail involves making a call to a number, I expect that is why you cannot retrieve messages at present.

As you have paid a maximum of £20 for 31 days service, I guess that you would be entitled to 65p as a strict liability.

For one customer 65p, but if 1000000 customets are affected then thats £65000 so i guess thats a bigger strict liabilty that smarty seem to shy away from and just hope it goes away by getting drowned out in comments, so come on smarty, get your hand in your pocket and compensate every customer affected today, so no champagne for the next board meeting.

This is what happens when Vodafone get involved. For Three (and subsequently Smarty) to be down for this long, with absolutely no update or indication of resolution is classic Vodafone territory. Utter shambles.

I'm really unimpressed with smarty this has been an entire day and I have missed five calls from my GPS surgery and therefore my appointment which will take another two weeks now to rebook thanks so much for **bleep** things up!

@ColinSa_2571747 If they had a contact centre, that would push up costs and the customers (us lot) would end up paying for it.

Given that there is a national issue, what do you think your chances of getting through to a call centre would be right now? If you really want a callcentre, then you will need to join a main network that may have them....and pay accordingly.

It may well be that they do not know what is wrong with the Three network or the smarty section of it, so that means that they cannot know exactly when it will be fixed.

No it doesnt.

@ColinSa_2571747 Yes, you are correct. Problem for some people has been that they want to call people who are not on WhatsApp e.g. doctor, hospital

Will customers be notified when it's back?, And couldn't you have messaged everyone if that's still working I've spent hours trying to figure this out

Yeah me too , changing setting etc etc but then realised it’s the switch over to Vodafone from three that’s caused it after some googling
