My number changed even after opting to keep my old?

Hi,

 

I just switched to Smarty, when signing up, I selected to keep my old number (for business and personal contacts) but now that I got the SIM activation email, they are telling me I have a new number. Is there anyway to reverse this?

@LukeMci_2450559 When you activate a new sim, it is allocated a random  number.

You then obtain a PAC code from your previous network and start the transfer process from your account dashboard.

Smarty cannot bring in your old number to the new sim without a PAC code and then going through the transfer process. There is a help article here: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/7019273-keeping-your-number?_gl=1*8eeqth*_ga*OTk5NjkyODY3LjE3M....
