My friend ported over his number but it’s not showing smarty on the phone can’t make calls , could it be the SIM card is faulty ?

@BarryDo_2763499 What does the account dashboard show for that sim? Is the sim showing as activated (but with a randomly allocated number before porting)? Is there an active Smarty plan showing?
If porting was requested, it does not take place over weekends and so could be up to 5.30pm on a working day. What did the confirming email say?
Phone will also benefit by being turned off and then back on to help it register to the network.
