I am unable to make calls to other mobiles, landlines & voicemail, I always get the message Network Busy, could this be a faulty sim? How do I go about getting another.

@Stephen_2086081 Have you done a Network Status check to look for any mast faults?

If you decide that you need a replacement sim, you order one from your Account Dashboard. Before doing that, it is worth taking the sim out and cleaning gently before replacing and trying it again.

Hi  Stephen_2086081,

There are a number of reasons why this might be, I do recommend speaking to chat before ordering a replacement SIM

https://smarty.co.uk/contact available daily from 8am – 8pm.

Hi Rebekah,

  • Thanks for your help, I tried speaking to chat earlier but didn't get a response. I did however go all the trouble shooting advice Smarty offers to no avail !.

@Stephen_2086081 If the SIM works for texts and data, it's unlikely to be faulty. I'd say it's more likely that your phone is not compatible with Smarty's 4G calling. See this page for more info.

Note that if you do decide to go ahead with a SIM replacement anyway, this will immediately disable your current SIM, then you may be waiting several days for Royal Mail to deliver your replacement SIM. And after all that.. the SIM probably won't have been the problem anyway.

Thanks for your help. My phone is 4g so didn't think that was the issue.

I will keep digging

@Stephen_2086081 Unfortunately, your phone being 4G doesn't necessarily mean it will work with Smarty's specific 4G calling. But anyway, the page I linked to has all the info about it.

Thanks again. I have looked at the previous page you recommended, my phone (Blackview A70) is not on the list of devices that are not or no longer supported. I have also checked the network coverage & although it says excellent I'm struggling to get above 2 or 3 bars, it's always been a bit patchy though.

Cheers.
